Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a combination of AAL and Lutheran Brotherhood. Many members at First Lutheran are a part of Thrivent.

First Lutheran has requested matching funds for events in the congregation. Some of the projects have been Pie Auctions with proceeds to go towards helping a family in our church. Women’s Ministry has received matching funds from the Easter Breakfast to help with giving scholarships to women who need aid to attend the annual Women’s Retreat, which is sponsored each year by our Women’s Ministry Group. Pizza Dinners have been hosted by our Preschool, Sonshine House, to help raise funds for play equipment. .

Financial information is also available to those interested.

First Lutheran Church and School looks forward to working with the Care in Congregations Program in the future as needs arise.
